Russian tankers completed the tasks assigned by the command on a T-72B3M tank that survived the arrival of five kamikaze drones. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The tank crew, under the command of platoon commander with the call sign Valuy, was instructed to support the actions of the infantry with fire from closed firing positions.
In total, the combat vehicle survived five hits from FPV drones. The tank crew extinguished the fire on their own, completed the task and returned alive.
Т-72БЗМ is an improved version of the Т-72Б3. According to the manufacturer of the vehicle, Uralvagonzavod, the tank is equipped with a more advanced 125-millimeter gun, Relikt dynamic protection, a highly automated fire control system, and high-powered ammunition.
