KMZ Developed the ShE-30 Electric Mooring Capstan for Vessels

Mooring rope retrieval speed is 36 meters per minute

Engineers from SKB-2 (part of the Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant military-industrial holding, KMZ) have designed the ShE-30 electric mooring capstan. The device is designed for picking, holding, and paying out the mooring rope during vessel mooring. This was reported by the holding's press service.
