Import substitution of "hardware" handled: UAC is in the final stage of creating a line of civil aircraft

The manufacturer plans to automate and robotize production by 2030

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec Group) is nearing completion of the creation of a line of domestic civil aircraft. This was announced by the head of the corporation, Vadim Badeha, at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Currently, specialists of PJSC "UAC" are conducting flight tests together with Rosaviatsiya.

I can say that our industry has coped with the main task of import substitution of systems and components, so to speak, in "hardware". That is, today all systems, all components, all necessary elements are manufactured and are in the final stage of ground-based autonomous testing.
Vadim Badeha, head of PJSC "UAC"

According to Vadim Badeha, 100% of materials, elements, technologies, units and systems for the development of aircraft construction are being developed in Russia. He stressed that Superjet-100 and Il-114 aircraft have already passed 20% of certification tests. Also, the company assembled the first prototype of the MC-21 aircraft.

By 2030, it is planned to increase labor productivity by at least 30% through automation and robotization of production at PJSC "UAC".
