Not Afraid of Frost and Difficult Obstacles: Rostec Tests TM-140 All-Terrain Vehicles in the Arctic

The TM-140 all-terrain vehicle confirmed its characteristics at a temperature of -45°C

Rostec has successfully tested the TM-140 tracked all-terrain vehicles in the Arctic. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.

The carrying capacity of the ТМ-140 is up to 4 tons. The all-terrain vehicles are capable of overcoming water obstacles, as well as climbs with a steepness of up to 35 degrees. These characteristics make the TM-140 a universal solution for performing a wide range of tasks in difficult climatic conditions.

Our all-terrain vehicles passed all the tests, easily overcame the snowy virgin land, carried cargo, and towed stuck equipment. The TM-140 confirmed its characteristics even at extreme temperatures — below minus 45 degrees.

Previously, the TM-140 all-terrain vehicles had already proven themselves in other extreme situations. They were used to supply remote villages during floods in Kurgan and to eliminate the consequences of natural disasters. The tests in the Arctic confirmed their reliability and efficiency, which opens up new opportunities for the use of these machines in various fields.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the new TM-140 all-terrain vehicles delivered to Russian rescuers.
