The keel of the self-propelled pontoon boat "Beringiya" (project SP 20) was laid down in Vladivostok at the production site of the "Elkor" enterprise. The vessel is suitable for navigation in coastal marine areas with a distance from the shore of no more than 22 km.

The new pontoon boat is a self-propelled single-deck steel marine vessel with simplified hull contours, aft location of the engine room and wheelhouse, and a bow ramp, equipped with two main engines.

The pontoon boat is being built by order of the shipping company Rosmorport. It will transport general cargo, towed wheeled vehicles and motor vehicles on the upper deck.
