The enterprise could have started operating in St. Petersburg in the second quarter of 2027

S7 Group's "S7 Development Center" has suspended the construction of a plant for the development of parts for gas turbine engines in St. Petersburg. The new enterprise was to be located at the "Parnas" site.

It was assumed that the production would create 328 new jobs. The construction involved the appearance of an administrative building with an area of 1800 m² and a production complex with an area of 6100 m².

The construction would have cost approximately 7.5 billion rubles. The enterprise could have started operating in the second quarter of 2027. Currently, the construction has been postponed indefinitely.

The plant was to produce blades for the hot section of gas turbine engines, which are necessary for the completion of aircraft power plants. For example, up to 3000 parts are required to repair or create one engine.

Earlier www1.ru reported that KAZ concluded contracts for the supply of 23 Tu-214 passenger aircraft.
