The Iskra plant in Novosibirsk has developed a capped cartridge case for small arms with a simplified design and increased strength. Engineers simplified the design of the case and removed the recess in the bottom, making it flat, as it reduces strength.
The invention relates to ammunition for small arms, smoothbore and rifled weapons, and can be used for the production of cartridges for these weapons.
The technical result consists of simplifying the design of the capped cartridge case, increasing the strength of the case by making the bottom of the primer pocket flat, and creating a design with high reliability and minimal response time.
The implementation of the capped cartridge case according to the proposed invention reduces the complexity of manufacturing and the cost. The ammunition design allows the production of precision cartridges for sniper rifles, providing accuracy and high shooting accuracy.
The use of such ammunition is being considered for the new Ugolek sniper rifle, the development of which Rostec began in 2019 entirely from domestic materials and components.
Earlier www1.ru reported that crossing the Shmel flamethrower and a ground robot led to an unexpected result.
