The "Zhizhgin" Tugboat will be Repaired by the Arkhangelsk Fleet Repair and Operation Base

The vessel will undergo repairs to the propeller-rudder system, engines, and electrical system

The sea tug "Zhizhgin" was successfully lifted ashore in Arkhangelsk. The operation went smoothly thanks to good weather and careful preparation.

The professionalism and vast experience of our employees in the sea helped to bring this tugboat to the hydraulic structure and lift it ashore.
Anton Krushelnitsky,  General Director of the Arkhangelsk Fleet Repair and Operation Base

Previously, such vessels were repaired in floating docks. Usually, slipway lifts at this enterprise ended in December, but this year the winter had frequent thaws, which allowed repairs to be carried out on land. The "Zhizhgin" tug will remain on the slipway until mid-April. This tugboat has a large draft.

We have a comprehensive maintenance and extensive repair to carry out.
Anton Krushelnitsky, General Director of the Arkhangelsk Fleet Repair and Operation Base

The Arkhangelsk Fleet Repair and Operation Base plans to carry out a number of works on the tugboat: perform work on the vessel's hull; repair the propeller-rudder system; restore the operation of the main and auxiliary engines; repair the electrical system.

The "Zhizhgin" tugboat is part of the Arkhangelsk Commercial Sea Port fleet.

Earlier, engineers from the Vympel Design Bureau presented a concept for a new generation pusher tug, project 00443. This auxiliary vessel is designed to replace ОТ-2400 and ОТ-2000 type pushers, which were produced by Ganz Danubius Budapest.
