The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket has launched the Progress MS-30 cargo ship into orbit, according to a Roscosmos broadcast.

The Soyuz-2.1a with the Progress MS-30 spacecraft launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 00:24 Moscow time. This was the first rocket launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in 2025, as well as the first launch of the Progress MS-30 spacecraft.

The ship will deliver 2,599 kg of cargo to the ISS, including 1,179 kg of equipment, clothing, medical and sanitary supplies, food, as well as 50 kg of nitrogen to replenish the atmosphere, 950 kg of fuel to refuel the station, and 420 liters of drinking water.

A new Orlan-MKS No. 6 spacesuit for spacewalks with a new internal hermetic shell made of high-tech fabric with a large service life, as well as a new automated water cooling system that automatically maintains the most comfortable temperature for the operator, was also sent to the station.
