The new Russian armored vehicles "Sarmat" (4x4) are actively used in airborne units. The vehicle has been modified in the front and in the area of the sides in accordance with the experience of combat use.
Additional protection has appeared on the doors, and an anti-drone mesh screen has been mounted above the hood and roof of the hull.
The vehicles have good cross-country ability and maneuverability. They have a relatively small mass - 3.5 tons. At the same time, the "Sarmat" can carry cargo weighing 900 kg.
Engine power - 150 hp. Maximum highway speed - 150 km/h. Fuel range - 500 km. A 12.7-mm Kord machine gun is used for self-defense.
