The largest plasma ejection this year was recorded on the Sun. This was reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the IKI RAS and ISZF SB RAS.
A very large, apparently the largest this year, plasma ejection was recorded on the Sun tonight. In the images received from space coronagraphs, the expanding plasma cloud could be observed from approximately 01:00 Moscow time until 09:00-10:00, after which the ejection moved away from the Sun and ceased to be visible in the field of view of the instrument.
According to researchers, the source of the ejection could be the region where the most powerful X2.0 flare was recorded a couple of days ago. If this information is correct, the ejection of the plasma cloud will not affect the Earth in any way.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that three powerful flares of the penultimate class occurred on the Sun on February 25.
