In 2024, the proportion of Russian drivers who have not caused traffic accidents in the past few years (CBM 0.46) increased to 23.91%. This is 17.2% more than in 2023. These data were obtained by bip.ru analysts based on an analysis of information about 1.75 million motorists.
The leaders in terms of the proportion of drivers who did not have accidents last year were Moscow (35.1%), St. Petersburg (29.1%) and the Novosibirsk Region (28.8%).
The number of accident-free kilometers traveled by CBM increased by 12% in Moscow and by 19% in St. Petersburg. However, the most significant changes occurred in the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Murmansk Region and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. There, the proportion of accident-free CBM increased by 54%, 52% and 50%, respectively.
At the end of 2024, in Russia, the proportion of drivers who had accidents (with a safety factor of less than 1.76) increased by 7.8% and amounted to 2.8% of the total number of drivers. The most accident-prone regions were the Republic of Tatarstan (4.6%), Chuvashia (3.8%) and the Omsk Region (3.8%).
Over the past year, the share of accident CBM has increased most noticeably in the Novosibirsk Region, Krasnodar and Altai Territories - from 1.76 and above. The increase was 110%, 99% and 56%, respectively.
Earlier it became known which of the drivers paysthe largest fines. The highest amounts were for motorists aged 31 to 40 years - an average of 734 rubles. Drivers aged 41 to 50 years paid an average of 627 rubles.
