The "High-Precision Systems" holding (part of Rostec) has fulfilled the 2024 state defense order for the supply of "Planshet-A" artillery fire control systems to the Russian troops.
The "Planshet-A" is designed for automated fire preparation and control, performing fire missions with all types of artillery systems. The system can also be integrated with reconnaissance assets, including unmanned aerial vehicles, allowing for real-time data acquisition and processing.
The "Planshet-A" can control firing from almost all artillery systems in service and the entire range of ammunition – it adapts to any artillery unit, including mixed types.
The modernized software and hardware complex (PTK) for the commander includes a shockproof tablet and a portable radio station; all equipment is housed in a compact protective case weighing less than 4 kg. The equipment can also be placed in a backpack or tactical vest.
Using data from artillery reconnaissance assets, such as radar stations and reconnaissance drones, the commander's PTK calculates firing settings and transmits them to the gun commander. One commander's PTK can cover up to eight guns.
