Aeroflot sent one of its aircraft to Iran for maintenance. The work was carried out in cooperation with the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran. This was announced by the head of Rosaviatsiya Dmitry Yadrov.
The quality of work of Iranian companies in the field of ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft is recognized as excellent and fully meeting the requirements.
Yadrov expressed confidence that Russian carriers will continue to cooperate with the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran.
In October 2023, Iranian Vice President for Science and Technology Ruhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi stated that Russia had signed contracts with Iranian companies for aircraft maintenance services. Aircraft will also be repaired on the territory of the Islamic Republic. Rosaviatsiya recognized Iranian standards in this area.

The airline's fleet includes 171 aircraft, of which 41 are wide-body and 130 are narrow-body medium-range. These are Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
In September 2022, Aeroflot and PJSC United Aircraft Corporation signed an agreement of intent to purchase 339 Russian-made aircraft. According to the document, by 2030, the carrier will receive 210 MC-21 aircraft, 89 SJ-100 aircraft and 40 Tu-214.
