The rotorcraft is capable of hovering in front of the fire source

The "Russian Helicopters" holding (part of the Rostec State Corporation) will present the latest Ka-32A11M helicopter for extinguishing fires in urban areas at the IDEX-2025 international exhibition in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The new product is a modification of the Ka-32. The helicopter is capable of hovering in front of the fire source and maintaining this position, despite the ascending air currents between buildings, thanks to the coaxial rotor system.

In one flight, the helicopter can deliver up to 400 liters of fire-fighting foam and 4,000 liters of water to the fire source. Its main feature is the electric heating of the water drain tank, which allows extinguishing fires at ambient temperatures down to minus 20 °C.

The helicopter has high export potential. Many potential operators are already familiar with helicopters of this type and note the special effectiveness of the machines in fighting fires. The reputation of the Ka-32 family of helicopters speaks for itself - today, about 190 helicopters of this type are operated in 20 countries around the world.
