Former head of AvtoVAZ, Bo Andersson, stated that the new Lada Iskra meets the standards of modern cars. The model will complement Lada Vesta.
Lada Iskra seems like a modern car to me. As I understand it, Iskra is intended to replace Lada Granta. This model is selling well now, but time takes its toll.
According to Bo Andersson, the new model will be at a level above Lada Granta, but below Lada Vesta, which will allow it to occupy its niche in the Russian automotive market. He also emphasized that he considers AvtoVAZ to be an unconditionally profitable company.
Earlier www1.ru reported that serial Lada Iskra will receive a Russian EPS.
