The newest ANT 1000PM firefighting robot will help reduce the consequences of possible accidents at oil refineries and other energy facilities. Footage of the complex in operation was shown by the Rostec press service.
The state corporation noted that the machine can fight fire in extreme conditions, where there is an increased risk for fire crews.
ANT 1000PM was developed by KEMZ and VNII Signal. The enterprises are part of the High-Precision Complexes holding of the Rostec state corporation. The fire monitor of the machine was created by specialists from the company "Korufayer."
The robotic complex is equipped with a special module, which includes a barrel with a water-foam ejector nozzle. It can fight fire and rubble at a distance of over 60 meters in conditions of high temperature and heavy smoke. At the same time, the equipment is installed on a remotely controlled boom, which also increases the special capabilities of the robot.
