Exercises of the IPC "Snezhnogorsk" of Project 1124M took place at the marine range

The small anti-submarine ship (IPC) "Snezhnogorsk" of the Kola Flotilla of the Northern Fleet, Project 1124M code "Albatross", carried out artillery firing in the Barents Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

The ship's crew successfully completed a set of artillery firing exercises and practiced combat exercises with a surface ship of a mock enemy.

The IPC also conducted training in setting up watch posts to combat unmanned boats and unmanned aerial vehicles. During the exercises, the artillery firing area was closed to navigation and aviation flights.

"Snezhnogorsk" is armed with AK-176M and AK-630M anti-aircraft artillery systems, 533-millimeter torpedo tubes, RBU-6000 rocket launchers, as well as modern sonar systems. It is designed to search for and destroy submarines in the near sea and coastal zone.
