Kamikaze Drone Swarm Control Station Developed in Russia

Hermes Design Bureau: Russia Creates NCS for Putting a Drone Army into Hibernation Mode

Russia has developed a ground control station (NCS) for putting an entire army of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into hibernation mode. This was reported by the Hermes Design Bureau.

The NCS is already being used in combat conditions and looks like a small box into which our transmitter is inserted. It has the ability to create a collective, a "swarm." Absolutely any drone can be put into hibernation mode and then turned on from a single remote control by one operator.

Thanks to the NCS, operators will be able to work with drones freely even in the zone of operation of electronic warfare (EW) systems. This is achieved through simultaneous operation at different frequencies; from two to four communication channels can be used with the installation.

The system also incorporates completely error-free software updates, if needed.
