The production of fifth-generation Su-57 multirole fighters in Russia will be increased by expanding the production capacities of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC). This was stated by the head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov.
The expansion of UAC's production facilities will allow increasing the supply of fighters to the troops, as well as actively offering the Su-57 in an export version for foreign customers.
Chemezov emphasized that the aircraft has undergone "tremendous evolution" over the years of production and continues to improve.
The Su-57 is a Russian fifth-generation multirole fighter. The aircraft is designed to destroy all types of air, ground, and surface targets.
The machine has internal armament, supersonic cruising speed, radar-absorbing coating (stealth technology), as well as the latest complex of onboard equipment.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that two Tu-160 "White Swan" missile carriers flew over the Arctic Ocean.
