In 2024, about 765,400 cases of cybercrime were recorded in Russia, which is 40% of the total number of offenses.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that regular cases of information theft from databases of Russian organizations lead to a decrease in their value on shadow Internet platforms. More than 60% of stolen data can be found on darknet forums, where they are offered for free. Experts predict that the situation with leaks will become increasingly more serious, including due to the increase in the number of cybercriminals.
