Tivoli, Torres, Korrando and Rexton SUV: Korean KGM cars will start assembling in Russia

Production is scheduled to start before the end of this year

South Korean company KGM plans to establish the production of its cars in Russia. The manufacturer has already started negotiations on assembling crossovers at one of the domestic assembly sites.

The parties may reach an agreement in the near future. Production is scheduled to start at the end of 2025. The brand has already announced its official entry into the Russian market, presenting a line of three crossovers — Tivoli, Torres and Korrando, as well as the Rexton frame SUV.

The first batch of 800 cars has already arrived in Russia, but the cars have not yet been certified. Launching production in the country should affect the availability of KGM cars for Russian consumers.

Earlier www1.ru reported that in 2024, Russian automobile production showed significant growth.
