In the Lipetsk region, new models of washing machines and refrigerators have been developed at the "IHP Appliances" plant. Graduates of Lipetsk State Technical University were involved in the creation of domestic appliances.
The household appliance factory has been operating in Lipetsk since 1993. In 2022, the company changed investors. This allowed the company to continue operating. The company managed to retain a team of just over two thousand people. Governor Igor Artamonov noted that the situation with the factory is an example of successful resistance to economic sanctions.
We are resisting economic sanctions. We did not wait them out - we saw new points of growth and development.
According to the head of the region, the Lipetsk region was able to reduce its dependence on foreign companies and significantly advance in the field of import substitution.
Over 2.5 years, "IHP Appliances" has increased its capacity and localized production by 62%, and established cooperation with Lipetsk enterprises to launch missing equipment.
