В Мурманске запустят новый цех по сборке беспилотников на экспорт

It is known that 40% of the UAVs assembled in the workshop will be exported, including to the countries of the League of Arab States

The company "NPK Progress", a resident of the Arctic zone, will build a new drone assembly workshop in Murmansk. The first UAVs will be assembled there at the end of 2025.

According to the agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV), investments in the project will amount to 3.2 million rubles. To speed up the launch of the enterprise, it will be built from prefabricated structures. The capacity of the future workshop will be 1,500 devices per month.

The press service of KRDV notes that the product line of the workshop will include surface drones. There is no other information about the types and purpose of drones that will be produced in Murmansk yet. However, it is known that 40% of the UAVs assembled in the workshop will be exported, including to the countries of the League of Arab States.

Earlier in early 2025, President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to accelerate the development of the drone industry. The head of state noted that this is necessary to achieve technological leadership.
