Crews of the "Tor" anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) provide motorized rifle units with a reliable shield against any aerial attack weapons. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The main task of the crews is to protect critical infrastructure, transport arteries, and entire settlements. The aerial target can be anything from an FPV drone to rockets from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the special military operation, we mainly work on unmanned aerial vehicles, such as "Furia", "Leleka". We destroy them very effectively, but we can also work on cruise missiles, guided aerial bombs, and multiple launch rocket systems.
The "Tor" is capable of detecting, capturing, and destroying up to four aerial targets simultaneously while in motion. The crew of the combat vehicle manages to occupy a firing point, deploy the launcher, and detect a target in just two minutes.
