The new product received a thermal sight with a high-definition (HD) LCD indicator. The complex will be able to work effectively against drones at a distance of 700-800 m. The rate of fire of the GShG-7.62 is from 3500 to 6000 rounds/min with an initial bullet speed of 820-850 m/s.

Military analyst Evgeny Damantsev noted that the development of a turret-mounted remotely controlled combat module for armored vehicles and surface ships will be the most relevant area for modernizing this machine gun complex.
