The creation of these mechanized units is due to the high mobility and low visibility of motorcycle equipment. On motorcycles, soldiers deliver food, water, communications equipment, and ammunition.

The high speed and maneuverability of the motorcycle favorably distinguish it from the quad bike - highly passable and load-bearing, but slow and bulky in wooded areas, the Ministry of Defense noted.
In addition, motorcycles win among other military equipment due to their narrow wheels, which reduce the risk of running over a mine and pass well off-road, unlike cars.
