Новая автодорога в Подмосковье: Южно-Лыткаринская трасса на подходе

The first sections of the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD) bypass, which will improve the region's transport accessibility, will soon be opened

In the near future, the first three sections of the South Lytkarino Expressway (YuLA), also known as the MKAD bypass, will be opened. This road is important for both local residents and transit traffic, including trucks, which are not recommended to enter the MKAD. This was stated by automotive journalist Maxim Kadakov.

He recalled that the authorities had planned to open the road in December last year. However, the deadlines have shifted. In the coming months, if there are no problems, the following will be opened: the interchange between the Simferopol and Rastorguevskoe highways (M-2 Crimea), the section between the Kashirskoe highway and the road to Domodedovo Airport (A-105), as well as the section from the Volodarskoe highway to the Novoryazanskoe highway with a bridge over the Moscow River.

The builders plan to complete the South Lytkarino Expressway from the Warsaw highway to the M-12 Moscow — Kazan highway by the end of 2025.

The road will be tolled. The estimated cost of travel on it may vary from 11 rubles per 1 km (for motorcycles and cars), to 22 rubles (for medium trucks) and up to 33 rubles per 1 km (for heavy trucks). The total length of YuLA from Vidnoe to Tomilino will be about 45 km.

The road will be operated on a toll basis for 24 years, during which time the concessionaires must return the invested funds and make a profit.
