From December 30 to January 8, all street parking in Moscow will be free. However, there is a nuance.
The Moscow Department of Transport announced that from December 30 to January 8, you can leave your car for free in any street parking lot, including those with tariffs of 380, 450 and 600 rubles per hour, as well as in zones with a dynamic tariff.
However, parking lots equipped with a barrier continue to operate on a paid basis in accordance with the current tariffs.
Also, until January 8, restrictions will be introduced in the center of Moscow on the start and end of trips in car-sharing cars in the areas where festive events are held. Restrictions will be introduced near the "Journey to Christmas" venues.
The Department of Transport reported that more than 90 thousand passenger taxis will operate daily in the capital.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russians are being "fined" for slow travel on the Moscow - St. Petersburg toll road. If the driver stops to refuel or go to the toilet, and therefore his trip takes more than an hour, he will be charged at the maximum rate, which is 12 times higher than the standard.
