Обновлённый электромобиль BelGee EX50: новый взгляд на белорусский кроссовер

The car was presented at the exhibition of achievements of Belarus in Minsk

The BelGee EX50 crossover, an electric version of the X50 model, is noticeably different from its gasoline counterpart, the BelGee X50 and Geely Coolray. Developed at the Belarusian-Chinese plant "BelGee", it was initially a copy of the pre-facelift Coolray. Now the car has a unique appearance.

The electric vehicle received a new bumper group, developed in collaboration with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. This year, it is planned to assemble a pilot batch of five cars, and mass production will begin in 2025–2026.

The main components of the electric crossover are Belarusian: an electric motor from "Mogilevliftmash", an inverter from the Novopolotsk plant "Izmeritel", and batteries produced by the "First аккумуляторная компания". The maximum power of the electric motor is 120 kW (163 hp), and the nominal power is 80 kW (109 hp) with a torque of 300 Nm. The 65 kWh lithium-ion battery provides a range of up to 400 km, and the maximum speed is limited to 130 km/h.

It is worth recalling that a significant part of the gasoline BelGee X50 is exported to Russia. The electric version is also likely to appear on our market.
