On December 29, 2024, Russian nuclear power plants (branches of JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom", the Electric Power Division of Rosatom) completed the annual state task of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia for electricity generation in the amount of 214.033 billion kWh ahead of schedule and switched to exceeding the planned indicators.
Rosatom emphasized that this was the result of effective teamwork by Russian specialists in the field of nuclear energy, as well as optimization of the repair campaign by 157 days through the use of the company's production system tools.
This year, as in previous years, we have something to be proud of. Key state tasks for electricity generation have been completed. In addition, in 2024, a number of important works were carried out as part of the construction of new power units at the sites of Kursk NPP-2, Leningrad NPP and Smolensk NPP-2 to ensure a systematic increase in the share of nuclear energy in Russia's energy balance to 25% by 2045.
In addition, in 2024, the concern expanded the range of isotope products widely used in industry, medicine and solving a number of environmental problems.
