Details have emerged about the technical equipment of the future Lada Iskra. In particular, the base version of the car will not have air conditioning.
The base version of the Iskra sedan will receive two airbags, ABS, ESP, electric power steering, 2 power windows, audio preparation, heated rear window and black stamped wheels. Air conditioning is not expected.
It will be equipped with the 5-speed manual transmission and 8-valve engine with 90 hp already known from the Granta car. Also, the base car will receive a semi-independent rear beam and drum brakes on the rear wheels. At the front there will be a subframe with levers and disc ventilated brakes.
Top versions of Lada Iskra will receive climate control. Simpler configurations will be equipped with air conditioning
