The domestic arms concern "Kalashnikov" used the experience of military personnel and developed a remote control kit for Konkurs-M anti-tank missile systems (ATGMs). The system helps protect crews from enemy fire, said Alan Lushnikov, head of the concern.
According to him, "Kalashnikov" recently received the necessary documentation for the equipment for "Konkurs-M".
We have made remote control, based on the experience of combat use of ATGMs, in order to protect the complex crew from enemy fire: this equipment allows military personnel to search for and hit enemy targets from cover.
Preparing "Konkurs-M" for combat operation does not exceed 20 minutes. With the help of this development, the operator will be able to alternately control 3 Konkurs-M launchers, being 100 meters away from the gun.
"Konkurs-M" is a modified version of the Soviet ATGM "Konkurs". It is designed to destroy armored targets, as well as fortified ground targets of the enemy.
