Unique footage has emerged online showing the deployment to firing positions and firing operations of the Russian main battle tank T-90M "Proryv". The crew worked on enemy trench and bunker fortifications.
After that, the crew of the vehicle used grenades from the aerosol-smoke screen deployment system, integrated into the "Shtora-1" optoelectronic countermeasure complex.
Today, the T-90M is the most advanced main battle tank in Russia, besides the T-14 "Armata".
The frontal projection of the hull and turret is equipped with 4S23 "Relikt" elements, which, in combination with special armor made of reflective sheets, provides the vehicle with an equivalent resistance of about 900-950 mm against kinetic projectiles and American M829A2 and M829A3 armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot projectiles.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer and the D-30 howitzer will start hitting the enemy even further, they received the latest shells with a range of 19.3 km.
