This year, the Udarная TPP produced an impressive 2.2 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity for the Krasnodar Territory. Since its launch in early 2024, this station, built by Technopromexport, has become a reliable source of electricity for consumers in the Kuban region.
Udarная is not just a power plant, but the first facility to use the domestic high-power turbine GTD-110M, developed by ODK, which is part of Rostec. Previously, such power plants had to be imported from abroad.
In March and April, the first and second power units with a capacity of 230 MW each were successfully launched, and in October the third unit joined them. The total installed capacity of the TPP reached 560 MW, which is almost 40% of the annual electricity production of all generating facilities in the Kuban region. Today, the Udarная TPP is the most technically advanced combined cycle thermal power plant in Russia, opening up new horizons for the region's energy industry.
