Камерный контроль и средние страховые выплаты: что там по ОСАГО?

Data provided for November of this year

The Russian Association of Motor Insurers (RAMI) reported that in November 2024, the average payment for OSAGO insurance claims amounted to 99,933 rubles. This figure is 10.4% higher compared to the same period last year. For the 11 months of 2024, the average payment amounted to 99,454 rubles.

RAMI notes that the increase in the average payment is due to the current situation in the spare parts market. This includes problems with logistics in the context of sanctions and a shortage of certain car brands. These factors continue to affect the cost of repairs and, accordingly, the amount of insurance payments.

It is also worth noting that, starting from March 1, 2025, camera control of OSAGO policies will begin in Russia.

The camera experiment will run until the end of 2025. After two or three months, if everything is normal and there are no failures, we will propose that it be completed earlier and that fines can already be issued.
Evgeny Ufimtsev, President of the Russian Association of Motor Insurers (RAMI)

At the first stage, violators will not be fined. Instead, they will receive notifications through the Gosuslugi portal reminding them of the need to purchase an OSAGO policy.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Putin signed a law extending the validity of the OSAGO policy to Belarus.
