Specialists from the Kinгисепп Machine-Building Plant (KMZ), a military-industrial holding, will repair and service electrical equipment at the Shakhtinskaya compressor station of Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar (part of Gazprom's subsidiaries). The holding's press service reported this.
KMZ fulfills contracts for the ongoing maintenance of power plants and carries out work to launch them and maintain stable operation, strengthening business ties with Gazprom.
The Shakhtinskaya compressor station is located in the Rostov region. It was built to expand the Unified Gas Supply System for supply to the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.
Shakhtinskaya receives gas from Gazprom Transgaz Volgograd, compresses it, and transmits it further along the route. The station provides gas to consumers in the southern regions of Russia and Turkey.
