Aeroflot Airlines has announced its intention to join an association of technology companies to accelerate its operations through artificial intelligence, the airline's press service reported.
Among the promising areas is the creation of digital twins. Virtual models will allow duplicating key processes of the company for their optimization and analysis.
Neural networks can predict the demand for air travel with high accuracy from three days to a year in advance. This will allow the airline to maximize the use of aircraft capacity with optimal economic effect and quickly respond to changes in demand.
Aeroflot also intends to refine its Automated Revenue Management System. In the future, this will allow other Russian companies to use its functionality.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Aeroflot expects to receive the first MC-21 aircraft in 2026.
