В России создали электромобиль из «Жигулей» с электромиксерами в роли двигателей

The non-standard solution required changes to the suspension and control system

The YouTube channel "Garage 54" continues to surprise its viewers with non-standard experiments with cars. This time, the team decided to create an unusual "electric Zhiguli."

The project was based on four electric mixers, which were used as engines. The suspension was taken from a front-wheel drive car, which required a number of technical modifications. It was especially important to solve the problem of compensating for changes in drive length when turning the wheels. For this, a splined part was used, which was supposed to ensure smooth movement of the components.

The control electronics were installed in the car's interior. For this, a cable was laid and a homemade remote control with four keys was prepared, each of which was responsible for controlling one of the "motors".

The experiment was not without its adventures. The car stopped moving after the extension cord plug was pulled from the socket.
