В Дагестане начали бесплатно готовить специалистов по управлению БПЛА

The "Tekhnolet" training center was opened at the Dagestan State Technical University.

A training center for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control specialists, "Tekhnolet," has begun operations in Makhachkala. It was established at the Dagestan State Technical University. The training center will teach skills in controlling, maintaining, and repairing unmanned systems. The training is free and available to both active military personnel and those wishing to enlist for contract service.

The center employs professionally trained instructors with combat experience and knowledge of modern combat tactics. They have already begun training the first group of specialists.

The training period for operators of unmanned aerial systems is up to two weeks. The training includes theoretical and practical parts, after which it is necessary to pass an exam at the training ground.

The center was created on the initiative of the Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic, Zaur Askenderov, at the expense of extra-budgetary funds. The Head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, and Askenderov visited the center and spoke with students and instructors.

Unmanned systems are not only means of armed combat, but also technical means that are used in the economy in various industries, ranging from various kinds of geodetic surveys, determining some parameters that cannot be seen from the ground, including determining malfunctions at various economic facilities. We can then reformat the experience of the center into industries that are necessary for us in peaceful life
Sergei Melikov, Head of the Republic of Dagestan
