The Russian Ministry of Defense has published a video showing the crew of the "Fagot" anti-tank missile system (ATGM) of the Airborne Forces artillery unit destroying the enemy's drone control point repeater with a well-aimed shot.
The "Kalashnikov" concern reminded that the "Fagot" is produced by PJSC "Kirov Plant "Mayak". The complex is designed to engage tanks and other armored targets, firing points, and enemy helicopters. The firing range is 2000–2500 m.
ATGMs were serially produced as part of the 9P135 launcher, 9M111 missile, and 9S469 light interference indicator from 1974 to 1980. In the 1980s, the launcher and missile were modernized more than once, which increased the detection and engagement ranges of targets and improved the dynamic characteristics of missile control.
From 1981, the modernized products were serially produced again as part of the "Fagot" ATGM. Currently, the Kirov Plant "Mayak" serially produces launchers for the "Konkurs" and "Fagot" ATGMs, as well as control and test equipment for the launchers.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the latest drones with thermobaric shells have appeared on the front lines.
