The shipyard's delivery team and representatives from contracting organizations will check the operation of the icebreaker's equipment, reactor and steam turbine plants, electric propulsion systems, shaft lines, and other mechanisms.

According to Alexander Konovalov, Director of Baltic Shipyard, the construction of the 4th icebreaker of Project 22220 is nearing completion. Shipbuilders have been working on creating a universal nuclear-powered vessel for 4 years.

Not only the ship's systems and mechanisms will be checked, but also the quality of our work. This is necessary to be sure that the icebreaker will not fail on the Northern Sea Route.
