Total reserves of stones and minerals at the man-made Mariinsky deposit amount to over 150 tons

The new man-made Mariinsky deposit in the Sverdlovsk region has already been placed on the state balance sheet of JSC "Mariinsky Mine." As reported to IA "Interfax" by the Ministry of Natural Resources, the deposit consists of dumps of substandard ores from the Aulsky and Malyshevsky deposits, located close to each other.

The reserves of the Mariinsky deposit include:

  • 2.9 tons of emeralds;
  • 156.6 kg of alexandrites;
  • 436.3 kg of phenakites;
  • 1.2 tons of chrysoberyl;
  • 155.2 tons of jewelry-grade beryl.

According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, the reserves of the Malyshevsky deposit within the "Mariinsky Mine" amount to 819 tons of beryl and 26.3 tons of emerald raw materials.

It is known that 100% of the shares of JSC "Mariinsky Mine" have been owned by "RT-Capital" LLC, a subsidiary of the state corporation "Rostec," since 2022.
