GRPZ, part of the state corporation, produces unique devices for measuring intraocular pressure through the eyelid and diathera magnetotherapeutic devices

The State Ryazan Instrument Plant (GRPZ) of the Radioelectronic Technologies concern has exceeded the 2024 supply plan for ophthalmic products for Russians. This includes ophthalmic indicators IGD-02, IGD-03, tonometers TGDts-0 and TGDts-03, and ophthalmic magnetotherapeutic devices AMTO.

In the context of limited access to foreign medical equipment, GRPZ has increased the production rate of products in demand in the healthcare sector. In particular, to date, the planned annual target for the supply of ophthalmic equipment has been exceeded and amounts to 120.4%. Devices for measuring intraocular pressure through the eyelid and magnetotherapeutic devices under the diathera trademark have proven themselves well and are in steady demand in the medical market.

Ophthalmic indicators IGD-02, IGD-03 and tonometers TGDts-01, TGDts-03 help to diagnose glaucoma painlessly at an early stage in adults and children. The disease is dangerous because it leads to complete blindness. The devices are used not only in medical institutions during medical examinations of the population, but also during doctor visits: the examination is carried out through the eyelid, which eliminates the risk of infection to patients even in unsanitary examination conditions.

Ophthalmic magnetotherapeutic devices AMTO are also in high demand. They are designed for the treatment and prevention of a wide range of eye diseases: in particular, myopia, hyperopia, asthenopia, and inflammatory eye diseases.

According to the manufacturers, AMTO is produced in two versions: one for use in hospitals and outpatient settings, the other for home use by the patient under the supervision of a doctor. In both cases, the device has a complex effect of a pulsed magnetic field on the eyeball and all parts of the visual analyzer. This accelerates the recovery process, increases visual acuity and reduces corneal edema.
