A unique program for virtual research of oil wells, Data Stream Analytics (DSA), has been developed at Perm Polytechnic University. This software, based on artificial intelligence methods, allows for rapid modeling of virtual well research, including determining reservoir pressure, making it a significant achievement in the field of digital technologies for oil production. The program has no analogues on the market.
The development became part of the strategic project "Digital Technologies for Subsoil Development" within the framework of the "Priority-2030" program. Data Stream Analytics is a comprehensive application with a graphical interface that allows you to perform various tasks in the development of oil and gas fields. The main goal of this system is to automate hydrodynamic modeling processes, monitor the development of hydrocarbon fields, and assess the energy state of deposits.
The peculiarity of DSA lies in optimizing the work of specialists, improving the quality of existing tools for supporting oil production, as well as expanding the possibilities for analyzing and controlling these processes. The program effectively solves problems related to reservoir pressure assessment using artificial intelligence technologies. This methodology has already been implemented as part of a comprehensive module for digitalization of oil field development and is successfully used by specialists at subsoil user enterprises to solve practical problems.
The methodology for assessing reservoir pressure using artificial intelligence was developed and implemented in the modules of our software product for digitalization of field development. Today, this software is actively used by industry experts
Software registration certificates have already been obtained.
Until 2024, cooperation with the software product was limited to companies from the LUKOIL group, but at the moment, enterprises in the oil and gas sector from various regions of Russia, including Udmurtia, Western Siberia, Moscow and Volgograd, are showing interest in the software. Testing and conclusion of an agreement are currently being carried out with one of these partners.
Dmitry Martyshev, Professor of the Department of Oil and Gas Technologies of PNRPU, noted that initially the product was focused only on Perm companies, but thanks to the positive experience of using DSA, enterprises from other regions began to contact the developers.
