В России хотят создать базу образцов голосов мошенников для борьбы с киберпреступностью

A large package of anti-fraud measures is currently under discussion

Russia plans to create a biometric data database of fraudsters, including voice samples, to combat cybercrime. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, Maksut Shadayev.

According to Shadayev, various measures to combat fraud are currently being actively developed. These include the use of biometric data.

Russia is also exploring the possibility of allowing telecom operators to use neural networks to detect telephone fraud attempts. These measures, according to the minister, will be included in the new cybersecurity law.

Shadayev also said that the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia is discussing with telecom operators the possibility of banning the sending of SMS messages during calls. This measure is aimed at protecting confidential information and preventing fraud with confirmation codes.

Earlier www1.ru warned that telephone scammers had come up with a new way to deceive Russians. They pretend that a gift SIM card has been opened in the victim's name, which supposedly already has money on it, and offer to transfer it to a bank account.
