Поезд Деда Мороза выехал в новогоднее путешествие из Великого Устюга: праздничный состав прибудет в Москву 3 января

The train will visit over 60 settlements in less than two months

Santa Claus's Train, which departed from Veliky Ustyug, has embarked on its New Year's journey, which will last almost two months. This unique project, organized by JSC "Russian Railways" and the government of the Vologda Oblast, includes visits to over 60 settlements along a 30,000 km route. The train set off with children and adults who saw off Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden.

The first stop will be Taishet (Irkutsk Oblast) on November 19, where the train will stay from 9:50 to 18:00. The train will then continue its journey through various cities, including Severobaikalsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, and then visit Blagoveshchensk, Chita, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ulan-Ude, and other cities. In some places, the train will meet guests on a ferry, weather permitting. The train will arrive in Moscow on January 3.

The train is a mobile residence, with a reception salon, a fairy-tale village for games, a puppet theater, a souvenir shop, and a restaurant car for tea parties. In major cities, guests will be able to enter the residence, while in other places, a children's animation program will be organized.

Santa Claus first went on a journey in 2021, and last year his train entered the Russian Book of Records, having traveled more than 33,000 km in three months. This year, his route will also include Karelia.

In addition, the tourist train "Winter's Tale", which will depart from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Santa Claus's residence, including a visit to Kostroma, will resume its operation as part of the holidays.
