The crew of the Russian 152-mm gun-howitzer «Hyacinth-B» destroyed a M2A2 ODS-SA Bradley IFV with an accurate shot, which was driving at high speed on the road. Powerful footage of combat work has appeared on the Web.
According to preliminary information, the fire was conducted by the crew with semi-direct aiming, or from a closed firing position at a distance of less than 10 km with a minimum elevation angle of the gun.
This ensured a direct hit on a moving target after the first sighting shot. A significant role in this was played by the highest experience of the gunner, as well as the fire correction transmitted to the gunner by the UAV optoelectronic reconnaissance operator.
