Кто из страховых компаний платит за падающие на машины дроны: полный список

Market participants are in no hurry to cover such damage to car owners

Russian insurance companies are reluctant to compensate for damage from drones falling on cars. This was noted by experts from the insurance industry.

According to them, the situation in the apartment insurance market is clear. If the insurance policy includes compensation for damage from a terrorist act, and law enforcement agencies have opened a case on the fact of an apartment damaged by a drone, then the insurance company recognizes the incident as an insured event and pays the victims money.

With car insurance against drone strikes, everything is not so transparent. Firstly, damage resulting from the fall of any objects on a car (most often trees fall on cars) is not an accident. Accordingly, the insurance company can only compensate for it if the vehicle is insured under a comprehensive insurance policy (CASCO). Secondly, the presence of CASCO does not guarantee that the insurance company will rush to pay the money.

According to market experts, the fall of drones on an insured car under CASCO is considered an insured event in «Reso-Garantia», «T-Insurance» and «Alfa Strakhovanie». That is, if there is CASCO in these companies, insurers must pay. «Ingosstrakh» is ready to connect insurance coverage against UAV strikes for additional money.

Damage resulting from a drone attack is not yet compensated in «Sber Strakhovanie», «Rosgosstrakh», «Renaissance Insurance» and VSK.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that motorists from Saratov may be exempted from fines for speeding if they had to "step on the gas" due to the threat of a drone attack.
