Avito Auto is launching a test of a new car rental model without a deposit, making rentals more accessible and convenient.
Now users can rent a vehicle without having to make a deposit, which is usually used to cover potential repair costs, fines, or other violations of the rental agreement. If necessary, Avito will cover these costs, providing up to 20 thousand rubles for each rented car in test mode. This innovation is available in 29 cities in Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and other regions.
The 25% increase in demand for car rentals in the past quarter is due to the growth of domestic tourism and the need to simplify rental conditions. Large deposit amounts (up to 250 thousand rubles) were often a barrier for customers, but the new model, where you can rent a car without these costs, could be a serious driver for the growth of the car rental market.
Renting without a deposit contributes to the growing popularity of the service and makes it more accessible to a wide audience. Car rental is especially relevant in the warm season, when interest in traveling around Russia increases. The largest number of requests are for budget models, such as the Hyundai Solaris, and for more status trips, executive-class cars, such as the Toyota Camry, are in demand.
